On Veterans Day in the New York City, The United War Veterans Council proudly grants America’s Parade. Over nine decades, New York has directed the nation in witnessing Veterans Day. Firstly, it was observed in 1919 to commemorate the Armistice that ended World War I one year prior (on November 11, 1918, at 11:00 AM). Veterans Day Gifts

Since 1919, it is fixed that November 11 as a special day to honor all service men and women.
